Our team had 2 main objectives: the first was to come alongside our host ministry and participate in opportunities at Oasis de Esperanza (including school outreach for 1st to 8th grade, teen outreach to 7 area high schools, participate with and facilitate cell groups in homes, minister at weekly adult and children’s church services, children’s ministry worker training seminars). Secondly the team also had several scheduled visits, with the help of Oasis de Esperanza, throughout San Jose to complete day projects at an SOS orphanage, an AOG Bible Institute, two elderly care homes, and a daycare program home for children. As an additional bonus the entire team got to perform with Dr. Dennis Sempebwa at Oasis de Iglesia – Malibongwe! |
